Check:

General lighting switch

Actuate the general lighting switch (1) to position (I)

Check the operation of the instrument cluster lighting, running lights and clearance lights and registration plate lighting.

Actuate the general lighting switch (1) to position (II)

Check the operation a=ll the items of position (I), plus the main headlights.

Potentiometer

Check the light brightness setting of the instruments and switches lighting.

Fog lights

Actuate the fog light switch to position (I) and check the operation

Hazard flashing lights

Actuate the bottom part of the hazard flasher switch (4) and check for operation

The hazard flashers are to be actuated only in case of emergency with the vehicle stopped.

Combination switch. Turn indicator lights, headlight and horn commutator

Commutation switch in position (1)

Check: headlights low beam.

Move the commutation switch to the position (2)

Check: headlights high beam.

Move the commutation switch to the position (3)

Check: headlight flasher.

Move the commutation switch to the position (4)

Check: turn indicator lights, right side.

Move the commutation switch to the position (5)

Check: turn indicator lights, left side.
