Only on vehicles fitted with inline injection pump
1 Unscrew the handle of the manual pump (1) and operate it until slight resistance is noticed when pumping and a characteristic noise is heard, indicating relief valve opening.
2 Fasten the manual pump handle moderately (around 2 Nm), run the engine and check the fuel system for tightness.
