Tighten parking brake and slightly loosen wheel nuts.
Jack up rear axle and remove wheels.

Removal and installation of wheel hubs is described with all necessary data and information in the workshop manuals "Axles" and the repair instructions on microfilm
Group 35.
Remove wheel hubs.
Remove grease from wheel hubs, clean wheel hubs and tapered roller bearings (arrows).
Inspect tapered roller bearings for wear and condition.
Thoroughly pack reusable or new tapered roller bearings with grease and fill wheel hubs with specified quantity of grease.
Insert inner tapered roller bearings in wheel hubs and install new radial sealing rings.
Install wheel hubs.
Install spherical washers (1) for centering the inner rims and check for completeness.
Attach wheels and lower rear axle. Tighten wheel nuts.
Observe tightening torque!
