Retensioning V-belts

Alternator - coolant pump
Engines 102, 115, 6161)
Loosen mounting screws (5) and tension bolt (4).
With tension bolt, retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Tighten tension bolt and mounting screws.
1) Retensioning device A

Loosen locknut (1) and tension bolt (2).
With tension nut (3), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Secure tension bolt and locknut.

Loosen tension bolt (2) and mounting screws (5).
With tension nut (3), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Tighten tension bolt and mounting screws.
Tighten tension nut (approx. 1/4 to 1/2 turn).
2) Retensioning device B

Loosen mounting screws (5).
With tension bolt (4), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Secure mounting screws.
Secure tension bolt (approx. 1/4 to 1/2 turn).
3) Retensioning device C

Loosen mounting screws (5).
With tension bolt (4), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Secure mounting screws.
Engine 115
Loosen mounting screws (5).
Force power steering pump outward with a lever until the specified adjusting value has been reached.
Tighten mounting screws.

Loosen mounting screws (5) and locknut (1).
With tension bolt (4), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Secure locknut and mounting screws.
4) Retensioning device A

With tension bolt (4), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Secure mounting screws.
Secure tension bolt.
5) Retensioning device B

Loosen mounting screw (5).
With tension bolt (4), retension V-belt to specified adjusting value.
Secure mounting screw.

Loosen mounting nut (6).
Retension V-belt by pivoting the tension roller to specified adjusting value.
Secure mounting nut.
