Fabrication
1 In an used thermostat, remove thetop part and install a cylindrical headscrew (1)
2 Install the two nuts (2) and tighten themso that the screw head remains fixedand the thermostat is kept at maximumopening stroke (L) at point (5)

3 Weld the area (3) between the screw and the nut
4 Open a 3 mm hole in the wax cartridge at point (4)
