Remove retaining clips (20) of soundproofing element (6) at left longitudinal member (3).

Loosen soundproofing element (6) from left longitudinal member (3).

 Installation: Position soundproofing element (6) between left longitudinal member (3) and integral carrier (4) as shown.

Lower vehicle.

Remove air duct segment (21).

Unscrew nut (22)   .

Remove refrigerant line section (23) from condenser (24).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring and moisten with compressor oil.

Unscrew nuts from retaining clamps (25).

Remove refrigerant line section (23) upwards.

 Installation: Make sure refrigerant line section (23) is guided through opening (arrow) of soundproofing element (6) as shown.

Detach coolant hose (27) from coolant line (17).

 To do so, loosen hose clamp (26) and remove coolant hose (27) from coolant line (17) and place to one side.

Remove soundproofing element (6) from engine compartment.

 Installation: Ensure that soundproofing element (6) in engine compartment has correct installation position.

Install in the reverse order.
