Remove

Switch off ignition

Remove driver door switch panel (S140) or driver door switch panel for comfort locking system (S140.1)


First, press in the front retaining lug (arrow A) and the side retaining lug (arrow B), then pull a long wedge (1) along the side on the switch panel, while pressing-in the second side retaining lug (arrow C). If necessary, use a small screwdriver to press in the fourth retaining lug (arrow D).
Otherwise the switch panel or door module may be damaged during removal.

Detach electrical connector from driver door switch panel (S140) or driver door switch panel for comfort locking system (S140.1)

 With regard to return shipment and scrapping of removed parts, please observe the respective guidelines in your warranty systems.



Install

Plug electrical connector onto new driver door switch panel (S140) or driver door switch panel for comfort locking system (S140.1)

Install new driver door switch panel (S140) or driver door switch panel for comfort locking system (S140.1)
