Removing

Completely discharge entire compressed air system

Remove compressed air lines (1 to 6)

 Mark all compressed air lines in relation to connectors

Remove overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02) from compressed air distributor (7)

Check production date on designation plate of removed overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02)

 Overflow valves as of production date 98/19 (year/week) can still be used.

If the production date is older than 98/19, replace overflow valve with overflow valve as of production date 98/19.

Part numbers remain unchanged

Remove compressed air lines (1 and 8) from air reservoir (5.01a)

 In some cases it is possible to connect the compressed air line (8) and the overflow valve with return flow (7.01) to another connector of the air reservoir.

Remove overflow valve with return flow (7.01) from air reservoir (5.01a).



Install removed or new overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02) to center connector of air reservoir (5.01a)

 Observe flow direction!

Transfer safety valve (30.01)

 If the safety valve (30.01) is installed in the center connector or in one of the side air reservoirs, it is necessary to install it in the right connector of the air reservoir (5.01a).

Install check valve (8.01) at left connector of air reservoir (5.01a)

 Observe flow direction (direction of arrow)!

Connect compressed air line (1) to check valve (8.01)

Extend compressed air line (6) and route from left frame side to air reservoir (5.01a) along frame cross member

Connect compressed air line (6) to overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02)

Install overflow valve with return flow (7.01) on compressed air distributor (7)

 Observe flow direction!

Connect compressed air lines (1 and 5) to compressed air distributor (7)

Pay attention to marking.

Route compressed air line (8) from right frame side to overflow valve with return flow (7.01) along frame cross member and connect

 Fasten compressed air line with cable straps

Check overflow valves and check valve for proper function

 Check connectors for leakage.
