Due to increasing warranty returns, the following complaint and cause information should be noted before replacing a roof antenna (A2/49) for GPS and telephone:
GPS not tracking correctly
Common cause: Satellite map database or CD errors
Tele-aid visit work shop
Common cause: Loose terminals or connectors
Telephone drops calls
Common cause: Phone service carrier issues
AM/FM reception
NOT influenced by function of roof antenna
Warranty claims for GPS and telephone roof antennae (A2/49) found to be operating correctly during inspection and testing will be returned and debited.
