Coding for daytime illumination ON:

When the radio is switched on, the display and function keys are illuminated (not dimmable).

Coding for daytime illumination OFF:

Illumination of display and function keys performed as a function of circuit 58d.

If the speed-dependent volume control (GAL) is not increased enough, the volume adaptation can be set to Stage 2.
