Modification notes
The control for interior lights has been changed since 12/94 on Model 202.
A changed interior light has been installed since 12/94, which switches off after 5 min. (taxi 2 min.) if the door has not been closed correctly.
On vehicles with sliding roof, electric window lifters or electric seat adjustment, a bias current up to 0.5 A can flow via the convenience facility control unit. Do not leave front doors open for longer periods on vehicles after 12/94.
Conversion:
Conversion of vehicles up to 11/94 is possible, which does not, however, include all functions of the latest vehicle (see Function overview table). With automatically dimming interior rearview mirror the cable must be removed from socket 1 of the coupling on the interior light, insulated and tied back.
Only Taxi interior light: Remove cable gr/bl from socket 4, insulate and tie back, as otherwise there is a danger of short-circuit.
