Service information on universal anti-theft alarm (ATA) control modules

Modification notes

 Since approx. 01/95 universal ATA control units are used for models 124, 129, 140, 202,

part no. 140 820 66 26 (Co. Becker)

140 820 67 26 (Co. Temic).

 After installation of the control unit, with the help of the HHT, the following programming must be carried out:

- Models 124, 129, 140, 202

- Country versions Standard  ,

- Interior space monitoring YES / NO, Version, Manufacturer

- Anti-towing protection YES/NO

- Headlight persistence only 

The control units can be programmed and reprogrammed as often as required.

Control units, which have not been programmed, are not operative.

When reprogramming via the HHT, a headlight persistence of up to 120 sec. can be programmed. If these headlights were switched on before the vehicle was locked, they will stay on for the programmed time.
