In the case of engine repair, to ensure the correct piston cooling it is recommendable to replace all the injectors utilizing new Mercedes-Benz injectors
The cooling oil injectors are manufactured by several suppliers that, in some cases, adopt different configuration for the injection tube oil (outside gage). Thus, the above tools are not adapted for these variations of configuration and only some injectors are in conformity with the established. The exclusion of the tools aims at avoiding the error in the determination of the cooling angle of the injector.
The procedures existing in their referred documents were removed.
