Special configuration for vehicles tailored via "Customer Tailored Trucks" CTT
Some specific vehicles are factory customized at "Customer Tailored Trucks" (CTT) before being delivered to the customer.
Certain modifications imply change to one or more electronic modules, generating the need to use a non-standard parameterization process.
In order to meet this demand, a new menu for parameterizing the vehicle model modules that may have such changes has been made available in the DAS diagnostic software.
Identifying if a vehicle has been modified by the "Customer Tailored Trucks" CTT
Access the vehicle data card and select the tab “VPD data”.
Check the line "11333 Vehicle Variant Number" and check the "Content" column.
If the column value shows “CTT” at the end, this vehicle has been modified.
Not all vehicles modified by "Customer Tailored Trucks" CTT contain parameter changes.
Procedure for control units parameterization and verification of extra configurations to be made
Parameterize the control unit as usual.
Check the vehicle data card on Vedoc as explained above.
