Due to recent events, we would like to inform you about repair work on the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1).
This information must be observed at all times when conducting repair work on the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1).
With immediate effect, the extraction tool W 447 589 00 33 00 for removal of propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1) may no longer be used. Now, for removal and installation of the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1), only the new extraction tool W 447 589 01 33 00 may be used.
The new extraction tool W 447 589 01 33 00 may only be used for removal and installation of the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1).
Otherwise, damage (A, B, C) will occur to the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1), which will generate consequential damage.
Installation: Before installation, the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1) must always be checked for any damage (A, B, C).
If damage (A, B, C) is detected on the propeller shaft for the front axle differential (1), this will result in consequential damage.
