Shifting linkage system of transmission Mercedes-Benz G60/G85 in Atego Trucks 1418/1419/1718/1719/1723/1725/1726/1729/2423/2425/2426/2428/2429/2430/3026/3030
Following are the procedures for analyzing the vehicle shifting linkage system in question with the purpose of preserving the proper operation of the gear selector lever coupling, especially when there is a possible escape of gears.
Important:
Before starting the intervention on the vehicle, make sure that all necessary security measures are taken, as mentioned in AP00.20-B-0000-02A – Safety/warning indications.
This Service information has a checklist, which must be completed and sent mandatorily together with the Guarantee Request. Processes sent without checklist will be automatically declined
Check lists that arrive after the arrival of the pieces will not be accepted.
Additional information:
For vehicles within the warranty period, the service must be performed at no cost to the Customer.
For reimbursement, forward the Guarantee Request (SG) to the plant, mentioning the application of all the steps of this IS, by completing the attached check-list form, which must be sent, printed, together with the FEPs, without which the Guarantee will not be accepted.

Proceed with the repair of the box by replacing the coupling sleeve and/or the coupling body. | |||
