It's important to note that during the filling of the AdBlue tank, it must be observed that it is only filled with pure AdBlue.
During the inspection, contamination of oil, diesel or mineral oil residues is often found in the pump module. Pump modules and AdBlue hoses are not resistant to these liquids .
On vehicles whose AdBlue reservoirs were filled erroneously, need to have the following parts replaced to avoid repeated pump module faults:
AdBlue reservoir
All AdBlue pipes
Pump module
Cleaning of the components is not recommended, as cleaning agent residue can damage the pump module and the dosage unit.
Repairs caused by erroneous filling of the AdBlue reservoir are not covered by the guarantee.
