Modification notes
As of engine end no. 039740 (for Engine OM 904) and 041956
(for Engine OM 906) the use of valve-shaft-guided valve bridges is introduced.
As a result, the guide pins on the cylinder head are discontinued.
The two valve bridges are not compatible, in other words in the event of repairs the assignment as documented in the parts documents "up to engine end no. pin guided" and "as of engine end no. shaft-guided" must always be observed.
