49 Exhaust system

Cause
The cross-section at the front double-wall exhaust pipes may be constricted by expansion of the gases.
Remedy
Replace fron exhaust system or exhaust pipe.
Note
The problem can occur on models up to production date about October 1985.
As of November 1985 two 4 mm diameter holes, offset 180° vertically, have been made on the outer pipe (in front of firewall). Part no. remains unchanged.
