Note
The additional axle base and frame measurement procedure is intended to follow normal wheel adjustment work on accident vehicles or on vehicles where an accident is suspected.
This procedure is based on the wheelbase measurements.
Assessment criteria are the differences between left and right or the effective distance measurement.
The vertical parallelism and frame alignment can then be checked in the case of minor frame damage, and when the axle base measurements are insufficient for a clear diagnosis, i.e. if it cannot be decided whether repairs on the Celette frame straightening bench are necessary or not.
Checking rear axle
1 Measure distance "H1" from reference bore "K" in measuring bridge (013a) to outer hexagon bolt of forward spring mounting on left and right sides using (06) and measuring pin with ring (013e).

2 Measure distance "H2" from outer hexagon bolt of forward spring mounting to outer hexagon bolt of rearmost spring mounting on left and right sides using (06) and measuring pin with ring (013e) and measuring pin with ring (013f).

(013f) length 390 mm
3 Using the same tools, measure distance "H3" from outer hexagon bolt of forward spring mounting to outer hexagon bolt of rearmost spring mounting on opposite frame side member on left and right sides.
