Remedy
Install control cable part no. 124 300 09 30 as of production date 02/87 with damper.

Cause
Incorrect combination of auxiliary wiring harness/control module
Remedy
Check whether contact 14 exists in connector of cruise control module.
Contact 14 exists, control module part no. 003 545 86 32.
Contact 14 missing, install control module part no. 004 545 24 32.
Complaint: Car runs at about 10 km/h beyond the set speed, in addition jolts may occur at higher speed |
Models (without ASR) with cruise control as of about 01/89 |
This problem affects vehicles with coding connector at cruise control module.
Cause
Contact resistance at connector pins for coding connector.
Remedy
Remove black rubber seal between control module and coding connector and install new gray rubber seal in its place. Request parts from VP/PPT4.
