29.3-010 Adjustment of lost motion of hydraulic clutch control
Procedure
Note
Check clutch pedal for ease of movement before starting the adjustment work.
1 Remove pedal cover.
2 Depress clutch pedal as far as the stop
3 Check whether the bearing tube is located in the recess (arrow) of the rubber stop (27).
4 Release clutch pedal.
5 Push dust cup seal on master cylinder upwards.
6 Loosen lock nut (13) on piston rod (12).
7 Unscrew piston rod (12) until it abuts the piston without any preload.
8 Screw in piston rod (12) one revolution in the fork end and lock. This produces the adjusting dimension of 1.25 mm.
9 Push on dust cup seal and install pedal cover.
