For Mercedes-Benz the quality of its products is very important and, for this reason, we have checked the gas cylinders installed in your vehicles for external damage as part of a recall campaign.
If one or more gas cylinders in your vehicle was/were replaced, you will find confirmation of the operations conducted in the corresponding test certificate (see Confirmation of conducted operations).
We would like to notify you here that the gas cylinders should be inspected at regular intervals, at least every 2 years, in a qualified specialized workshop. Please assume responsibility as vehicle owner and/or vehicle driver with regard to these tests, to continue to ensure that the operational safety of the vehicle's gas system is retained.
Please also observe any applicable legally prescribed inspections and any inspection deadlines in your country.
