The rear head restraint raise/lower switch (S52/5) is located between the left rear power window switch (S21/15s1) and the right rear power window switch (S21/15s2) in the rear center console.

The rear head restraint raise/lower switch (S52/5) is a rocker switch with non-actuated state. Two resistors are integrated in the switch for voltage coding.

The switch state is read in by the rear control module (N22/6) and stored as a message on the CAN bus.
