Purpose | Coolant flows past the temperature sensor continuously when the coolant circulation pump is running. The purpose of the temperature sensor is to measure the current coolant temperature and provide this information continuously to the control module, which switches the heater to the various heat output stages depending on the coolant temperature or, when the cut-off temperature is exceeded switching the heater to the cooling phase with shut-off delay. | ||
Design | The temperature sensor is designed as a KTY sensor element. The control module provides the power and control. |
