Fuel metering pump location

The fuel metering pump is installed in the fuel line between the fuel tank and the heater. Its mounting is screwed to the longitudinal frame member, at the same height as the air cleaner.

Fuel metering pump task

The fuel metering pump transports the appropriate quantity of fuel into the combustion chamber in proportion with the combustion air blower setting. The flow of fuel is blocked during periods of inactivity.
