Purpose | The purpose of the coolant circulation pump is to ensure constant and effective circulation of the coolant through the entire auxiliary heater circuit. The coolant circulation pump takes coolant from the coolant circuit and pumps it through the heat exchanger for the auxiliary heater and then to the heat exchanger for the vehicle heater or into the coolant circuit for the engine. | ||
Design | The motor for the coolant circulation pump is designed as a collector-type motor equipped with a magnetic clutch. The coolant circulation pump has a separate housing with connection fittings for coolant inlet and coolant outlet. The control module provides the power and control. |
