Purpose | The purpose of the heat exchanger (10) is to transfer the heat energy from the hot combustion gases in the combustion chamber to the hot air flowing through the heat exchanger insert: The combustion gases heat up the inner wall of the heat exchanger. The air sucked flows along the outside of the heat exchanger where it picks up heat energy. | ||
Design | The heat exchanger consists of a cast aluminum housing which is highly fluted on the inside and outside. The inner wall of the heat exchanger forms the combustion chamber in combination with the combustion and hot air blower (3). The burner insert (7) with combustion tube (9) is installed in the heat exchanger. The temperature limiter (8) is mounted on the outside of the heat exchanger. |
