Function
The automatic mode can be switched on by pressing the automatic pushbutton ( ). The automatic mode is indicated to the operator by the following display:
The set temperature value is displayed continuously
The blower symbol ( ) is displayed with the abbreviation for automatic
In the automatic mode the air quantity and air distribution functions are controlled automatically.
Control of the defroster, footwell and blend flaps is accomplished depending on the temperature measured by the heater core temperature sensor.
Exception:
Control of the diverter flap is accomplished depending on the average deviation between the interior air temperature sensor and outdoor temperature.
