The Becker® MAP PILOT control unit (1) must be inserted in the bracket for Becker® MAP PILOT (A2/30) to establish the connection to the vehicle.
Receive signals
Receiving the control signals via telematics CAN (CAN A) from the radio/radio with navigation (N87/8)
Receiving signals from the global navigation system (GPS) via the GPS antenna splitter (A28/14)
Receiving FM signals for the Traffic Message Channel (TMC) via the antenna amplifier (A2/18) and the TMC antenna splitter (A28/13)
Transmitting signals
The bracket for Becker® MAP PILOT (A2/30) sends the following signals from the Becker® MAP PILOT control unit (1) to the radio/radio with navigation (N87/8):
Audio signal via a direct line
Video signals via a line for low voltage differential signaling (LVDS)
