Location
The rear lamp units are located on the left and right at the rear of the vehicle.
Task
The rear lamp units are used to output the following light functions:
Perimeter light, standing lights (issued by tail light)
Side marker light (USA version or Canada version)
Turn signal lamp
Brake light
Backup lamp
Rear fog lamp
The individual lighting functions are output via bulbs or LEDs depending on the version of the front lamp units (halogen headlamps or LED headlamps). The light sources are actuated by the central controller unit or the rear central controller unit depending on the vehicle involved.
Canada version or USA version
The turn signal light is output via the brake lamp.
