Task
The KEYLESS-GO control unit is connected to the network architecture of the vehicle. In the models 118, 167, 177, 247, the functions of the KEYLESS-GO control unit are integrated in the electronic ignition lock control unit.
The KEYLESS-GO control unit and/or the KEYLESS-GO control in the electronic ignition lock control unit controls the following functions:
KEYLESS-GO start
KEYLESS-GO (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO)
HANDS-FREE ACCESS (vehicles with HANDS-FREE ACCESS)
For the implementation of the functions, the KEYLESS-GO control processes the following information among other things:
Signals from the transmitter key or the Digital Vehicle Key (vehicles with vehicle access and drive authorization via mobile phone)
Signals from the KEYLESS-GO antennae
Signals from the sensors in the door handles (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO)
Circuit status
Service brake, status
Status of central locking
Status of start/stop button
The KEYLESS-GO control processes this information and transmits, among other things, the following information and requests via the network architecture:

Convenience feature direction
Show messages request
