Operation
In the straight ahead drive position and with a balanced forces relation in the valve case (2), the rotor (9) of the star valve (6) is immobilized, by the torsion bar (5), in the center/neutral position in relation to the distribution covers. The oil flow supplied by the hydraulic power steering pump (10) comes easily to the return tube through the star valve (6).
The same compression ratio actuate in the work chambers (A and B).
The stroke limiting valve (1a, 1b) and the pressure limiting valve (7) are closed.
