Task of ESP brake pressure sensor

Registers driver's braking requirements by measuring pressures at master brake cylinder.

Pressure sensor 1 ESP (B34/1):

Generates electrical signal which corresponds to pressure of hydraulic fluid in front axle circuit.

Pressure sensor 2 ESP (B34/2):

Produces an electrical signal corresponding to the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the rear axle circuit.

ESP brake pressure sensor, function

Ceramic sensor element measures pressure of brake fluid. Its metal housing contains electronic module which supplies pressure signal as analog voltage to ESP/BAS control module (N47-5).
