Operation
The anti-blocking system (ABS) has the function of avoiding the locking (lock-out) of the wheels. This is carried out by electro pneumatic valves (45.01), that prevent the passage of air that flows to the axles pneumatic cylinders, every time they receive an electrical signal sent by the electronic brain of the ABS/ASR system.
In addition, in the outlet (2) of the electro pneumatic valve, there are test plug sockets (38.02) that can check if the pressure of the system is correct.
