The air suspension control unit is the central control unit for the functions of the suspension.

Function

The air suspension control unit primarily intervenes in the following functions:

 Level control

 Wake-up mode

 Air suspension

 Electrohydraulic suspension

 Raise/lower rear end

 Active lean-over in bends

 Recovery mode

 Individual wheel control

To execute these functions, the air suspension control unit primarily processes the following input factors:

 Vehicle level

 Body acceleration

 Lateral acceleration

 Vehicle speed

 Ambient air temperature

The air suspension control unit processes these input factors and primarily transmits the following actuations:

 Air suspensions

 Damping valve unit

 Electrohydraulic controller unit

The air suspension control unit is located in the left front area of the vehicle behind the bumper.
