Pedal value sensor, location
Pedal value sensor, task | To record the accelerator pedal position and transmit information to the engine control unit.
Pedal value sensor, design | The pedal value sensor using the Hall-effect principle consists of two Hall-effect elements, 2 magnets, electronic and return spring.
Pedal value sensor, function | The magnets are moved via the linkage or control cable attached to the pedal value sensor and therefore change the magnetic field direction (vector B), causing the voltage to change. The information on the accelerator pedal position is passed on to the engine control unit via two voltages. Up to an angle of rotation of approx. 10% is defined as the closed throttle position. If the pedal value sensor is turned through more than approx. 55%, this means wide open throttle. |
