The electric machine rotor position sensor contactlessly records the position and engine speed of the rotor of the electric machine via the multi-pole ring.

Function requirements

Function

The position sensor scans the multi-pole ring of the rotor. It delivers an amplitude signal and forwards this to the power electronics control unit to calculate the rotor angle.
