Task

Time-limited ground control from the DFI control module (N3/8) to the relay module (K40) or fuse and relay module (K40/4), respectively.

Function

As a result of the voltage drop at the DFI control module (N3/8) circuit 15, a time-limited ground control is conducted for about
4 seconds from the DFI control module (N3/8) through the HRL

circuit to the relay module (K40) or fuse and relay module (K40/4), respectively. As a result, the DFI control module (N3/8) continues to be supplied with voltage after engine stop. Once the engine is not running, the relay module (K40) or fuse and relay module (K40/4) is switched off automatically by the DFI control module (N3/8) and the voltage supply interrupted. During this sequence the function of the electrohydraulic shutoff actuator (Y1/1) is checked.
