Fuel preheating mixed mode function

Function

The fuel flows from the fuel tank through the fuel feed (c) into the fuel heat exchanger where the fuel flow is split. A part of the fuel flows through the thermostat (60/1) which is open on both sides, into the preheating chamber. The preheated fuel flows through the fuel outlet (d) to the fuel filter. The other part of the fuel flows through the opened thermostat directly to the fuel outlet (d). At a fuel temperature from +18 °C up to +30 °C, the fuel heat exchanger operates in the mixed mode and the thermostat is opened to the preheating chamber and to the fuel outlet.
