The upshift delay switchover valve (AT/CC [AG/TPM]) (Y3/5) is actuated by the IFI [ERE] control module (N3/7) or DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) during cruise control operation. As a result, the armature plate (a) is attracted by the electromagnet (d) and the rubber seal (f) shuts off

connection 1.

In the de-energized state, the spring (b) pushes the armature plate (a) together with rubber seal (f) against connection 2 and seals it off.
