1 Remove cover (1) from instrument panel.

2 Complete cutout for installation of timer in middle of cover as shown in figure.

a = 84.5 mm

b = 40.0 mm

3 Reinstall cover in instrument panel.

4 Route connection lead for timer from driver's footwell below instrument panel upward to installation area for timer and out through installation opening.

5 Connect lead (2) to timer (3) and install timer in installation opening.
