Remove caps for fiber optic cable and plugs for equipment connections only shortly before connecting.Route fiber optic cable so that it is protected against being stepped on; do not kink and avoid routing radii of < 25 mm.
1 Route unfitted end of wiring harness (1) and fiber optic cable (2) for CD changer upward for connecting to radio below instrument panel and route out of radio installation shaft.
2 Route wiring harness (1) and fiber optic cable (2) for CD changer toward rear for connecting to CD changer on cab floor and route to seat frame at side.
Connect wiring harness and fiber optic cable to present leads and wiring harnesses and route on cab floor in gap between insulating mats glued on. Fasten wiring harness and fiber optic cable to cab floor with strips of adhesive tape. Avoid chafing points, if necessary install chafe guard.

3 Connect wiring harness to 10-pin connector C for radio according to pin assignment.
