Do not work between the wheels and the rolling space or wheel wells. Carry out the testing jobs and adjustment exclusively from the vehicle underside and with the help of a pit. Safely fence access to moving parts area.

Life at risk

Adjustment jobs in the pneumatic suspension can cause unintentional lifting or lowering of the vehicle, which can produce an imperceptible risk in this area.

In case of a defective pneumatic suspension system, the vehicle can lower suddenly from loss of pressure.

Risk of injury

In an intervention in the axle suspension area and checking of the level, severe accidents can occur during the adjustment job or by the defective pneumatic system.

Procedures

- Test and adjustment jobs cant be carried out between wheels and the structure or in the wheel wells, but only from the underside the vehicle and utilizing a pit.

- Protect the unforeseeable risk areas against non permissible access or approach by means of appropriate protections (as for example blocking, protection fences).
