Remove/install

Disconnect ground cable.

Remove roof lining and place in vehicle.

Unscrew nuts (9).

 Nut, roof railing to roof frame

Remove bolts (8).

Press retaining clip (10) together and remove holder of roof railing (11) downward.

Disconnect electrical connection (6).

Unclip electrical wiring harness (4) from roof at retaining clip (3).

If the window airbag (1) on the front passenger side is to be removed.

 Clip remover

Unscrew bolts (2).

 Bolt, windowbag to body

Unscrew bolt (7).

 Installation:
Do not twist check strap (5).
Otherwise the window airbag (1) may malfunction.

 Screw, window airbag check strap to body

Unhook window airbag (1) at holders and take off.


Do not twist or kink window airbag (1).
Otherwise the window airbag (1) may malfunction.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order



Check

12

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.


