Remove/install

Remove ignition key from ignition lock

Remove bolts (3)

 Bolt, airbag to steering wheel

 Screwdriver bit

Lift steering wheel airbag unit (2) from steering wheel, release and disconnect electrical connector (1)

If the steering wheel airbag unit (2) is being replaced.



Dispose of steering wheel airbag unit (2) properly

Replace steering wheel

Only if steering wheel airbag unit (2) has been deployed.

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with diagnostic system

If the steering wheel airbag unit (2) has been replaced.


