Remove/install

Move front seat and seat backrest forwards

Remove head restraint (1)

Loosen seat cover rail (4) from seat cover bracket (5) on seat backrest cover (3) at bottom

 To do this, unhook retaining rubber (2) at bottom from seat cushion frame and swing seat backrest cover (3) upwards until seat cover rail (4) is accessible.

Open zipper (6) on both sides and lift seat backrest cover (3) upwards until cushion clips (7) are accessible

Open cushion clips (7) on seat backrest cover (3) at top


Carefully open cushion clips (7).
Otherwise the seat backrest cover (3) or seat backrest padding can become damaged.

 Installation: Replace cushion clips (7).

Remove head restraint guides (8)

 To do this, release catch hooks on both sides (arrows) and pull head restraint guides (8) upwards out of seat backrest frame (9) as shown.

 Installation: Observe assembly position of head restraint guides (8).
Press in head restraint guides (8) until they are in position in seat backrest frame (9). Catch hooks only engage automatically when the correct assembly position is reached.
