1 Set seat to upright position.
2 Disconnect air line (1b) from level control (C).
3 Disconnect all air lines (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) from the level control valve (A).

4 Disconnect air line of supply air (1e) from valve of lumbar support (G).
On the driver seat the valve for the lumbar support (G) is fastened to the left paneling (J) and on the front passenger seat to the right paneling.
5 Remove all tie straps for the air line fastenings.
6 Fold up the seat cushion and turn the underside of the seat upwards.

7 Disconnect air line (1c) and air line (1d) from the multipoint connector (D).
The multipoint connector (D) on models 950 up to 954 is located behind the seat and for models 944 and 970 up to 976 at the front of the seat.
8 Only for suspension lower parts (H) with assembly bore: Disconnect air line (1a) of air spring.
9 Remove all tie straps for the air line fastenings.
10 Completely remove the air line wiring harness.
