1 Place seat onto seat console (3) and fold backrest (2) forward.
2 Remove bolts (4) at left backrest frame side piece (6) and right backrest frame side piece (1).
3 Remove nuts (5) at right backrest frame side piece (1).
4 Remove right backrest frame side piece (1).
Observe installation position of right backrest frame side piece (1).

5 Set new right backrest frame side piece (1) on the backrest and align parallel to the left backrest frame side piece.
The cutout (arrow E) must line up with the guide (arrow F).
6 Tighten the nuts (5) in accordance with the tightening sequence (A to D) to the prescribed tightening torque.
Replace self-locking nuts (5).

7 Position backrest (2) on seat console (3).
8 Align left backrest frame side piece (6) and right backrest frame side piece (1) to the attachment points at the seat console (3).
9 Screw in bolts (4) of left backrest frame side piece (6) and the right backrest frame side piece (1) up to the contact surface.
10 Tighten bolts (4) of left backrest frame side piece (6) in accordance with the tightening sequence (a to b) to the prescribed tightening torque.
Replace self-locking bolts (4).
The bolts (4) of the right backrest frame side piece (1) will be tightened at a later stage.
