Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Disconnect ground line of on-board electrical system battery

 Before conducting any maintenance operations, switch off ignition, disconnect battery negative pole then wait for at least 3 minutes.

Disconnect ground line of auxiliary battery

Disconnect ground on additional battery for park pawl emergency shift

Fold seat cushion padding (2) forward

Disconnect electrical connectors (5, 6)

Disconnect electrical connector of seat belt warning system for front passenger seat

Remove screws (3)

 Bolt, front passenger bench seat to seat base

Remove screw/bolts (4)

 Bolt, front passenger bench seat to seat base

Fold back seat cushion padding (2) back

 The seat cushion padding (2) must be engaged at the seat frame (8) of the front passenger bench seat (1).

Remove front passenger bench seat (1)

 Aid of helper required.

Install in the reverse order
